Camp Lango is a terrific way for kids to learn Spanish or Mandarin while enjoying summertime fun. Lango campers spend each week immersed in an exciting part of Latin America or Asia. Lango’s dynamic, experienced teachers serve as counselors, and are supported by a team of native-speaking and fluent assistant counselors. Campers spend each day moving from one activity to the next, including special “No English!” times, designed to provide an immersion experience while still allowing for a ton of fun. Small student teacher ratio combined with our specially designed language camp curriculum is guaranteed to boost your child’s new language ability!

A Typical Day’s Schedule at Camp Lango:

Students have fun as they learn through a variety of activities, including:

• Arts and crafts
• Chinese folk dance/Spanish Flamenco
• Drama
• Chinese calligraphy
• Cooking/baking
• Math
• Singing
• Games

Students also have the opportunity to participate in field trips, to places like:

• Metropolitan Museum
• Imagination Playground in South Street Seaport
• Prospect Park
• Chelsea High Line
• New York Chinatown
• New York Chinese Cultural Center

Cost includes:

• snack two times a day
• venue admissions
• camp t-shirt
• field trip transportation by subway

Campers bring their own lunch.
Day camp time: 9 am to 3 pm
Extended care (8:30 to 9 am and 3 to 5 pm)

Please download and return the registration form along with the deposit at your earliest convenience – as space is expected to fill up fast! The medical form must be received before the beginning of the camp (July 9th, 2012).
